Hi - my name is Darla

Nine years ago, I was done feeling so lousy. I was always tired, constant headaches, and just felt achy all over. I finally broke down and went to the doctor. She proceeded to tell me that she thought I might have Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was always hurting.

I was shocked. The doctor quickly handed me a prescription that was supposed to help.

My mind quickly went to my grandma, who died at a young age of 68, riddled with Rheumatoid Arthritis. She had been taking loads of medications and that didn’t help her.. In fact I think it actually hurt her more… so I knew that I DID NOT want to go down that path…
So what did I do? I quickly handed that prescription right back to my doctor (to her surprise) and I walked out of her office that day with a new determination to change my life and my health.

I wanted to find a more natural way to decrease inflammation, get rid of my painful symptoms and heal my body naturally… so I could feel better.

I began researching and quickly learned how much the food we eat influences our health. Not just Rheumatoid Arthritis, but so many other health issues...fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism (which I had been previously diagnosed with) autoimmune diseases, high blood name it!

I started making simple changes...I found that it wasn’t really rocket science, but really just a new way of looking at things.

And it wasn’t like you had to go invest in some expensive supplements or start drinking some crazy was just learning some new habits and ways of doing things that I hadn’t done before.

I also had had the crazy notion that getting healthy and learning how to have more energy was going to be costly...and quite honestly, back when I first was learning all this,our budget was tight and I didn’t feel I could justify spending a lot of money on myself.

It wasn’t long and I started seeing results...I was waking up without headaches, I was full of energy and excited again about life and what the day would bring.

Fast forward to today...I’m in my early 50’s, feeling the best I have ever felt, I wake up with a purpose and I love my life. I know that my mindset has a lot to do with how I look at life, how I feel, even how much energy and passion for life I have. My mindset has also made it simple to implement other healthy habits into my day.


I knew that I had to share what I learned with others just like me.I had to let people know that it's a lot simpler than they think to boost their energy and feel good!

I am a HABIT CHANGER and a WELLNESS MAKER...a certified health and life coach who works with women who not only want to experience weight loss and wellness but want to dive deeper into the MINDSET that has been holding them back. I believe it's about habit changes, small, life-long choices that will create overall wellness in your life. It’s not just about a diet, restricting food groups or going to the gym for hours a day, rather its learning who you truly are and who you want to be.
